Lorenzo Morandi (Modena, 1985) is a photographer and filmmaker based in Italy. He is interested in people, places, and the ways they shape one another. His work includes independent projects and commissioned productions. He is the author of several photobooks, and his films have received international awards and been presented at festivals.
His work has been commissioned, supported, or published by cultural institutions, publishers, magazines, and brands, including Fondazione Severino, Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, Fondazione Ermanno Casoli, Fondazione La Rocca, Fondazione Piero e Alberto Rossini, MARES, Lebled Soloviev Editions, Allemandi, Il Giornale dell’Arte, Artribune, CURA Books, Exibart, Interni, InsideArt, Road & Track, Mizuno, and Ducati.
Since 2016, he has led YourStory, an independent editorial platform and production studio developing photography and film projects through encounters with figures from contemporary culture.
