Born during the Covid era, the film explores isolation as a breeding ground for parallel worlds, reflections of our deepest urges. Set within the eponymous installation, it transports us to feral, dystopian landscapes, stripped of all social pretense, shaped into barriers by a mind corroded and self-imposed in seclusion. Here, the abyss of passion mutates into obsession, consuming existence until it is utterly erased.
The project took shape during the preparation and realization of Architectures of Isolation, an exhibition curated by Angel Moya Garcia and hosted at Tenuta dello Scompiglio in Capannori, Lucca.
