Low Monferrato
Low Monferrato is an ongoing investigation into Basso Monferrato, literally Lower Monferrato, an area of Piedmont in northwestern Italy. Low refers to its geography, but also to a condition: understated, peripheral, unassuming.Through places and people, the project looks at a territory that, precisely because of its marginality, preserves forms, relationships and landscapes not entirely shaped into an image of themselves.
